I said to him today "please be good when you are at Aunt Traci's. Do what she says and don't argue " and he said "of course cause she's not our mom"
The other night we were having some pie and Logan asked if he could have some cake. Thinking he meant pie and not paying much attention I said sure. Well I dished up his pie and this is how our conversation went
Logan: I wanted cake,
Me: well we have pie.
Logan: But you said I could have cake
Me: We don't have cake we have pie
Logan: But I asked you for cake and you said I could have some
Me: I'm sorry Logan we don't have cake I meant pie
Logan : (close to tears) It's just You just make me so "frusturated"
He has a great understanding for Logic and can argue you to death, and usually he is right
Logan helping my self-esteem.
Logan says "Mom what are those things in your hair" I said bobby pins and he says, well you should take them out they make you look funny.
"Mom are you going to wear make-up to church today. You should it makes you look pretty.
"I burshed my hair today, you should brush yours."
The kids piled all their stuff on the couch and then Logan took a nap.
He is super sweet. When Kevin had his knee surgery Logan always wanted to stay with him so he could "keep him comfy". When the doctor asked him what he was going to do this summer, he said "stuff with my dad". Right before I had the baby I was really tired and on bed rest and Logan made me a bed on the couch so I could be downstairs with them. He can be the most exasperating little boy from sweet to hyper to not listening to funny to getting upset to loving, he can do it all.
