Color me mine

Melinda and I took the kids to a place called Color Me Mine. The kdis each got to pick out a ceramic piece and paint them. After they were done the store fired them in a kiln. They turned out so neat and I was very impressed with how well Haley did.

Coming home from vacation

This is what our lawn looked like after being gone for a month. It took Kevin several hours to mow it all. It didn't help that he had help!
Playing dress up! The kids were very happy to be home and back with their toys

He's just cute!
Playing B-ball with daddy. He had to have his sunglasses too.

My birthday cookies.

My favorite Lake Picture

Shelly and Chad's

When we left the cabin we drove the two hours to Shelly and Chad's house. They have a great house on a lot of property. We swam every day, went blueberry picking, saw some of Luke's baseball game , and rode their horses.

Isaac wanted me to take this picture of him for Aunt Lisa so she could see him swimming.

I didn't get many pics of the horseback riding because it was getting dark but we all had a great time. Our kids rode up and down the long driveway all by themselves. Logan even got his to gallop.

Last Day at the Cabin

The last day at the Cabin was just us and Aunt Lisa. We had a great time. We went back to the park to play at the Splash Pad, and then we found a beach so Isaac could actually swim, then back to the Cabin for a last swim off the dock.

Enjoying popsicles Lakeside.

We finally got Isaac into the Lake, in his own private swimming pool.

Derek took a nap while we played.

Lisa called Haley an octopus with 8 arms and legs. She was always all over everyone.

We found a really nice park next the lake house. It was huge. There were 4 playgrounds all connected together, a little zoo, a splash pad, train ride, carousel, minature golf and a reptile house. We had a lot of fun playing around. The kids even got to try a cheerwine slushie. Cheerwine is a softdrink in North Carolina, that was really good.
