Tyler's birthday

Tyler turned 2.  I LOVE his hair.  He is still very clingy to me and Haley.  He has finally started going to Nursery, but after Sacrament meeting, he always points outside and wants to go home.  He loves to play football.  Mainly the tackle part.  He says  "hut, hut hike" and runs.  He is so much fun.  He likes to have his hair done.  He goes to the bathroom and gets the spray bottle and moose and says "hair".

Of course he got sick.  He has been sick on both of his birthdays.

This is his hair after a nap.

Isaac's birthday

Isaac turned 6 .  He is a wonderfully smart kid.  Great at math, and he is top in his class in reading.  He still likes to play by himself and he is a little obsessive.  Luckily his obssesions go in cycles.  Lately it has been playing basketball on our little hoop and he keeps scores and plays for 2 different teams.  He is always coming upstairs asking me to guess the scores, tell me who is winning and what the last play was.  Sometimes he makes up the names of the teams, other times he uses names of teams he knows.  His favorite color is still orange.  He is not fond of playing games where he might lose, but if when he does play a game and wins he thinks it's the best ever.
He bought this BYU football with his birthday money from Great Grandma.
Kevin Haley and Logan made this bean bag toss for Isaac, and Grandma made the bean bags.
Grandma also gave him this toy where you had to dig and break through the block to find the rocks hidden in there.  The kids all loved taking turns.  I had dust on my table for weeks.  It seemed every time I cleaned it would turn around and they were digging again.  Logan said he wanted one for his birthday

Winter olympic museum in Salt Lake City

For Isaac's birthday we went to the Waffle Truck, and then took them to the kids school and checked the kids out.
We went up to the museun and the kids got to sit in a bobsled, a luge and the skeleton.  This was perfect timing because we had been watching the winter olympics.

I spent some money and let the kids go on this virtual ride.  It was like going on a bobsled track.  Tyler was funny because at the end they drop fake snow on the riders and Tyler started yelling "no no!"  (his way of saying Snow.) He got really excited.

And just for Grandpa, we had a bunch of deer in the backyard.  We got out the binoculars and he was able to watch them.

Grandma and Grandpa come to visit

We made lobster tail and steak for dinner one night.  Tyler would only eat the Lobster he LOVED it and picked the tail clean!
On Saturday we went to Logan's and Haley's basketball games and then to Culver's for lunch and ice cream.

Yes!  I think this is the first time Tyler actually let Grandma (or really anyone hold him).

We went to Chuck E Cheese for Isaac's birthday.

I think Grandpa used as many tokens as the kids.
