Isaac is 6 months old

I can't believe that our little Isaac is 6 months old. Once they are here it goes so much faster than the pregnancy. Isaac is 18 lbs and 27 in. He can sit up, roll over, and he is the grabbiest kid I've ever met. He'll grab everything in sight, including the doctors gloves and his stethescope. We had to hold his hands down at his doctor's appointment. He eats baby foods, and hasn't spit anything out at me yet. He thinks Haley is hilarious and follows her with his eyes everywhere she goes. She makes him laugh. He thinks it's really funny when she cries, which makes her even more mad, she says Don't laugh at me It's not funny. He loves to play with toys and is generally a very happy and content baby. We love having him in our family. It's amazing how fast you get to the point where you can't remember and can't imagine life without him.

Just chilling with dad. This table has been one of the best toys, all our kids have loved it. Thanks Great Grandma!

Haley had the boys enjoying a fake tea party.

Fell asleep in the recliner while I was cleaning.

Always playing with toys.

Cookie Night

So I'm not a Susie Homemaker. We used the store bought dough and icing for our cookies, but I did add the food coloring, so everyone could make their own. I actually prefer the store bought dough, because then I make smaller batches and there is less for me to eat. The kids had a lot of fun choosing the color they wanted and making their own.

Of course I think the kids like the icing more than the cookies
Logan enjoyed his cookie.

Haley takes this very seriously.

Logan showing off his cookie.
Daddy even got into it. Oh by the way, here is my new table. Yeah!

Haley's Soccer Photo

So I gave in and bought the picture. She is really starting to like soccer. This morning she came in and said "today is my soccer game. I'm so exciting." and no I didn't mess up the spelling she said exciting. All week she has been telling me how "exciting" she is to play her soccer game.

it's raining It's pouring

We had a little rain storm on Saturday, so I let the kids go and play in it on the deck. They got soaked and loved it.

Here they are singing and dancing. I'm not sure where Haley learned how to dance like that.

Random Pictures

Here are just some random pictures from this week.
The mustache doesn't look too bad on Logan.

We found her like this. Logan brought her this toy while she was going to the bathroom. I just don't even know what to say about it.

Isaac was enjoying his new toy, but Haley and Logan thought he was having too much fun.

I'm not sure how Isaac got this toy around his thigh. All I know is he did it on his own because I was the only one in the room with him

I bought Isaac this new toy and he loves it. I got it at Costco. This was his first time under it. Watch how excited he gets with the sun starts to play.

Daddy Daughter Dates

Kevin and Haley have tried to start the tradition of Daddy Daughter Dates. Here is their most recent dates. They went miniature golfing. Haley had a blast and played each hole several times.

Afterwards they went to get ice cream that was "as big as her head"

Rock, Paper, Scissors Go Omniture!

Last night was the annual Omniture Summer Family Party. This years theme was Carnavale and it was held at Thanksgiving Point. When we got there the first thing we did was meet a clown who did balloons. Logan got a sword and sheath.

Haley Got a flower, but you cant' see it. We also got popcorn, churros and the kids each got a bag of candy
Next it was on to the carnival games. All geared towards children, and the kids won a lot of fun little prizes.
Logan was always very deliberate.
Here is Kevin and Haley on the Tornado. Unfortunately Logan was too short to go on. Which really upset him, I had to take him away and he was crying "I'm not too small, I'm not too small." The first time Haley had to hold hands with Kevin and they didn't spin. The second time she was all for it.
Here are some cows pulled by tractors. They also had several big slides for the kids to go. We were also fed dinner, and the kids got to try cotton candy for the first time.
Isaac giving up his bottle for the good stuff.

There was face painting there. I tried to get Haley to be a princess or a butterfly. Nope she wanted the dragon.
Logan wouldn't tell us what he wanted, (I think he was overwhelmed) so we went with the pirate.
They gave us blankets to sit on for the etertainment portion of the evening. Haley and Logan are enjoying their slushies. Yes our kids ate a lot of junkfood, but it was a special evening.
Every year Omniture plays Rock Paper Scissors for some big prizes. This year there was about 1800 people playing. Kevin made it to the final 3 where he was up against 2 little girls, about 7 and 9 years old. He ended up coming in second and winning a 2500 gift card. First place got 5000. Here is Kevin and the 2 girls.
This is the second time Kevin has won Rock Paper Scissors. He won first place at the first Omniture party we went to.

After the game they gave out ice cream and had a live band and then a firework show. It was a wonderful night and the kids had a lot of fun. Thanks Omniture!

Whiny Logan

While Logan was sick he was definitely spoiled by me, and now I'm reaping the consequences. He has become very whiny and my patience has been shot. Yesterday I told Logan it was nap time and he threw a huge fit. I ignored him, and then Traci called, and then I went to the bathroom, and then I realized I hadn't heard him for a while....and this is where I found him.

Sound asleep. This is at the bottom of the basement stairs.
