Discovery Children's Museum

On Friday afternoon, we got Haley out of school early and took all the kids to the Children's museum. They had a great time. On Monday when I asked Haley what she wanted to do she said "go back to the museum!"

Underwear Head

I don't know why but one of Derek's favorite thing is putting underwear on his head. He'll even put it on his head and crawl around, or play peek-a-boo. Luckily the only time he finds underwear is when I'm folding laundry so it is always clean.

Winter Fun

We had a really nice day so the kids went out side to play in the snow. I got them each a spray bottle and filled it with water and added some food coloring. I sent them and they had a blast "painting" our snow.

Then they decided to break in our new sled, sledding down the hill in our backyard.

Derek is 1 years old

Derek is now 24 lbs. He is just starting to take steps. He is a sweetheart and he always has hugs and kisses for his daddy when he comes home. He gives a great cuddle. Right now he gives kisses by presenting his forehead. He is always fair though, if one person gives him a kiss everyone must kiss him, and he goes back and forth between them presenting his forehead. He loves the bathroom. If our bedroom door is open he goes straight for our bathroom and always opens the bottom drawer looking for toothbrush and toothpaste. He loves Logan and Logan will always play with him. Isaac refers to him as his baby and gets very upset if anyone else tries to claim Derek as their baby. Derek loves music and loves to dance, you'll frequently hear him trying to sing with our CD's in the car. My favorite is when he does the laugh with Vincent Price at the end of the song Thriller. He is just a joy to have.

Derek loved this toy from Grandma and Grandpa. It kept making music in the box and every time it did, Derek would stop and dance.
