Canyon Cook Out

The other night we went up American Fork Canyon with the Reese family to have a cookout.

We cooked some hot dogs.

We did some romping in the woods.

We took some pictures.

We skipped some stones.

We ate some Smores.

I got all the Smore stuff out and turned around. Next thing I know Isaac was eating the chocolate bar.

We had a great time!

4th of July

On the the 3rd of July we got the kids ready for bed and then headed out towards Thanksgiving Point to watch fireworks. We stopped along the way and got Frosty's from Wendy's.

We parked and put all the seats down in the back of the van and waited for the fireworks. Isaac was having issues with the seats being down, so he sat in his carseat.

Unfortunately it got really windy and cold so we closed the back of the van and watched from the inside.

On the 4th we made stars and stripes cupcakes. Isaac didn't want to use his hands.

Then time for fireworks!

I think Derek's head is about as big as Isaac's. I thought Derek was going to lose an ear in a couple of these pictures.

Splash Pad

The othe day I took the kids with my friend Katie to a splash pad park. It was extremely windy, but the kids still had a great time. When we first got there Isaac refused to let me put his swim suit on. And he wouldn't go anywhere near the water. Then a little while later I looked over and he was having a blast. In fact I think he had the most fun. They also had a playground area on the other side so the kids ran back and forth.

Bike Ride

The other day we went with our friends Katie, Miranda and Easton on a bike ride. The kids had a wonderful time.
