The rest of Christmas Break

New Years Eve we had our appetizer dinner, played games, watched Brave and watched the ball drop at 10 online so the kids could go to be.  On New Years day we went to Toucanos for lunch.  On wednesday we took the kids to the church to play at the gym.  We had a game of basketball, Logan, Isaac and me versus, Kevin, Haley and Doc.  We also played with remote cars and other toys.  I had to leave to take the baby home and Kevin and the kids stayed and played sardines.  Thursday was back to school for the kids and work for Kevin.  It was a very cold Christmas break but we kept the kids busy.  Every day was also spent playing with our new Christmas toys.  (we make sure everything gets played with before it gets put away)

Sledding

On the Saturday after Christmas we went out to lunch and then took the kids sledding.  There is a great hill next to Kevin's old work.  We bundled everyone up and headed out.  Tyler and I stayed in the car except for the few minutes when I took pictures.  

 Derek is trying to get back up the hill.  I think Derek enjoyed it the most.  He preferred sledding on his bottom or his stomach instead of the sled.  I think it was slower.

4 wheeling in the snow

On Thursday and Friday of break, thanks to the amount of snow that fell, Kevin finally got to break out his 4 wheeler and snow plow. Then the kids got to get a sled ride behind the 4 wheeler.  

Christmas Break

On the last day of school before Christmas break I picked up the kids from school and took them swimming.  

Thursday we went to Carl's Jr for breakfast and later we went to the gym and they played with some friends.

Friday Kevin met us at the theater and we saw Wreck it Ralph.

Saturday we went out to a special lunch at Olive Garden for Mommy and Daddy's anniversary and went to Logan's last basketball game.

Sunday Church.

Monday was Christmas Eve with all it's fun and games.

Tuesday Christmas--nuff said

Now to Wednesday.  We woke up and it was completely white outside, so we decided to stay in and play with more of our Christmas toys.  When it was Derek's naptime he was not eager to go to bed so Kevin promised they would play games when he woke up.  While Derek was asleep Kevin took the older kids to the swimming pool. When Derek woke up the first thing he said was "where daddy"  I told him he was gone and he said "daddy play games" and started crying, so we decided that we would put up this new tent they got from Aunt Lisa for Christmas.  Tyler loved it and laughed the whole time.  When Kevin and the kids got home from swimming the kids went straight out to play in the snow.  Isaac was the only one who didn't play, he wanted a warm shower.  More Christmas break pictures to come!
