Random Oct pics

Tyler sleeping on me while out to lunch, and yes that is some of my lunch on his head.
family scriptures, while Tyler studies my phone.
Tyler was loving this apple.  He would lick the apple like a sucker.  Somehow while playing with my phone he posted this pic on instagram.
Sometimes the only way to make this kid happy is to take pics of him.
 Found them watching cartoons.
Logan taking his role as older brother seriously.  Running Isaac through drills to get ready for his game.
Tyler found Haley's hat.
 cute boy.
 Tyler's crazy after nap hair.
 Sharing the time out chair.
Who has been sleeping in my bed?
 Loving on Jordan.
So addicted to the phone and I pad.

bowling

We took the kids bowling during their Fall Break.  During the second game Tyler got tired of just watching and decided he needed turns, so he took some of Daddy's turns.  He would try to grab and to carry the bowling ball by himself.  Thinks he can do everything they can.

Logan won the first game (we aren't great bowlers as you can tell by the scores)
Isaac won the second game.  Kevin's score included Tyler's help.

BYU Football game

Kevin took the oldest three kids to a BYU football game.  We played (and beat) Georgia Tech.  The kids had a lot of fun.  Logan and Isaac are so obsessed with football right now they were so excited to go.  Logan made up a saying that week that I heard over and over and over again.  "What the heck Georgia Tech.  Pain in the neck."  They were so happy about beating Georgia Tech that when Isaac played his football game, one of the teams was always Georgia Tech.

halloween fun

We got into the Halloween spirit this year and did some fun crafts.  I also let each of the kids take a "Halloween bath"  in the dark with glowsticks.  We watched a halloween movie one night, and did lots of decorating.  It's fun celebrating a holiday for a whole month.

 Painting pumpkins.

Making Frankenstein's
I had each kid paint their Frank their favorite color so it was easy to know which one belonged to which kid.

If you look at our front door in this picture you can see the monster we decorated it with.
We took the Halloween train up in Heber.  They had a pumpkin patch where we picked our pumpkins and they had a haunted house.

We made some mummies.  Again painted in their favorite colors and then wrapped.

cheesecloth ghosts.

Derek plays itty bitty football

We signed Derek up for Itty Bitty Football at the rec center this year.  This is his first time doing sports outside of our backyard and he did really good.  He was so excited to go every day.  He was super fast.  When running laps in the morning he would lap several of the kids.  Mostly just because he is fast but partly because he takes it sooo seiously.

Learning how to kick off of a tee.
 Playing defense on flag football
His turn to try and score a touchdown.  No one ever got one of his flags.

You can see on his face how hard he concentrates.

Making 2 people miss.  They both ended up on the ground.

For some reason on the last day they play with the big parachute.
and Leo the Lion shows up.
Tyler doesn't usually like people so I was very surprised when he got excited about the Lion.  He wanted to see him but he wouldn't get too close.
