First day of school

Haley started 2nd grade. She wasn't so excited about going back to school, especially since Grandma was still here and Logan didn't start school till the following week. Despite her protests she had a good time. She wanted us to stay with her and help her line up because she wasn't quite sure where to line up.

Logan started Kindergarten and was very excited to go. He had no fears and did not want daddy to get him to his class, he was sure he could do it on his own. Daddy walked him anyways.

The Meyers Visit

The Meyers came for a visit and we had a good and busy time.

We went to Bridal Veil Falls and we wanted to make sure we didn't lose Dan, so he wore his bright Orange shirt.

Isaac stood behind this rock and slid little rocks down it the whole time until he had quite the collection at the bottom.

We went to a rodeo. Derek was a mess.

We had a lot of fun and did a lot of things. We always enjoy spending time together.

Fun week

Adobe gives all their employees the week of 4th of July off work and we had a lot of fun.

Monday the 4th Kevin and I went 4 wheeling and then we all did fireworks.

Tuesday we went to Chuck-e-cheese and this was Dereks favorite game.

Wednesday Kevin took the 3 oldest hiking and fishing. They ate lunch on their hike.

He took Haley and Logan back out for some dusk fishing.

Thursday we took the kids to a swimming pool with a water slide.

Isaacs favorite part was the kiddie area.

Derek loved the waterslide in fact we couldn't keep him off of it. Isaac didn't like it. Logan passed the swimming test so he was able to go on the waterslides alone and then we had family movie night.

Friday we went to lunch and then took all the kids to the theater to see Kung Fu Panda 2. It was a great week and the kids had a blast playing with their daddy.

4th of July

We had a neighborhood dessert party for 4th of July. The kids enjoyed all the ice cream, cupcakes, suckers and all other sweets involved. Derek loved sitting in his own chair and watching the fireworks.

They made aerial fireworks legal this year and they were fun to watch and we got some of our own.

And of course Kevin and his sparkler pics which always turn out cool.

We met the Branhams for a picnic dinner up the canyon and the kids had a great time climbing the rocks.

Then Kevin and I met them to go 4 wheeling. It was a blast and gorgeous. It was still cool and there were places where there was still snow. We were gone all afternoon. Kevin and I had a 2 seater and we took turns driving.

We were filthy.
