isaac turns 5

Isaac turned 5.  Isaac is AWESOME.  He is such a good kid.  He has been in pre-school this year and done very well.  There is a lady in our ward who takes him to and from school and he loves going with them.  He likes to be funny and Anna (her daughter)  calls him her boyfriend.  He is very good at Sports math.  He can add and subtract which he learned from watching Sports.  He is also learning to read.  He is OCD and once he learns something he works at it until it is perfect.  He is obsessed with time right now and is constantly watching the clock.  If it's close to a magic number (1:11, 2:22, 3:33)  he watches it until it hits and then he sings a little song.

February Part 2

Alright to finish February.  Tyler enjoyed his first corn on the cob.  And boy did he enjoy it!

I put a little spike on his head to make him look like a dinosaur.

Haley played basketball this year, and she did awesome.  She had a high score of 12 points, had lots of rebounds and played really aggressive.  We had a lot of fun watching her.  She was able to play with a friend from church and her coach was also from our ward.

 Kevin and his brood.
We spent a lot of time at the Dr.'s office.
Justice (haley's favorite store) was having a sale.  I told Haley if she watched Ty while I was at the Gym and Kevin was sleeping that I would take her later that day.  A little later that morning Haley threw up in Kevin's car so I said to Haley I guess we're not going shopping today, and she said oh yes we are.  So we did.  This shirt she bought sums it up.  She likes bright sparkly colors.
 Derek chillin on my bed!
An outfit Haley bought from Justice.  Gotta love the bright purple boots.
Ty and I went to Cali for Kati's bridal shower.  Here we are at the airport.   Unfortunately Tyler was having some stomach issues and as soon as the plane landed he threw up all over me.  Much to the disgust of the plane full of Cheerleaders.  Poor kid threw up every night for a week it was miserable.

Ty playing with Gordon.  They liked giving kisses.
Unfortunately Tyler was sick the whole time we were there, and the only person he would go to was Maddison.  The first time he saw her he reached for her.  (I think he was missing his Haley)

The plane trip home.  Unfortunately Tyler pretty much screamed for the first half of the flight.  There was nothing I could do.  He would throw his whole body back and just scream.  I took him to the Dr.'s the next day and they put him on some medicine for his tummy.

 Me and my boys
During half time at a BYU game they honored Super bowl champion Dennis Pitta who had just had a touchdown reception in the super bowl .

February-Part 1

We've been really busy this year so I thought I would give a quick recap of February
Lots of BYU Basketball games.  It's a lot of fun to go, we take turns taking kids and going together.
We went to Mi Ranchito for lunch and bought a 3 enchilada dinner for the kids to share.  They put the huge plate in front of Isaac, who looked and me and said "mom do I have to finish it all."
We had tons of snow and very COLD weather.  It's the coldest winter I can remember.
Tyler walks around holding onto the furniture, it's amazing where he can get himself.
Artic circle.  Tyler finished Derek's ice cream cone.

He also got to go on his first slide at Artic
The Ravens won the super bowl and I  bought the kids these delicious cookies from Macy's.  Yeah go Pitta.
Daddy went out of town so there was many a movie night with popcorn.
Our basement is under construction, which has meant a lot of dust, noise, mess and children under my feet since they can't go into the basement to play or watch TV.
Derek spending a lonely afternoon while his siblings were all out playing with friends.

We had a solid 2 weeks of sick kids with Haley and Tyler getting it the worst.
Haley had a cold sore turn into a strep infection which gave her the nasty scab on her chin.

We went to a BYU Men's Volleyball game (ranked #1)  We were in the 4th row and one of the players spiked the ball  and it headed straight for Isaac's head but luckily I was able to get a finger tip on it before it got to him.  Later, I was walking around with the baby when a ball was hit towards us, I stopped it with my foot and Derek wanted to throw it back to the player who was very impressed with Derek's throwing ability.
Logan likes to use old school work to make new things,  this month he has made countless paper airplanes, this cricket and a sail boat for his teacher.  We believe he will grow up to be an engineer.

Tyler loves his walker and does laps around the kitchen.  Here he is giving Derek a ride.
Aw crap, he found the stairs.
 Valentines day cookies.

Hanging out at one of Haley's Basketball games.
