Yellowstone

Last week we went to Yellowstone with Grandma and Grandpa Burnham. We had so much fun. Since I have 750 pictures to go thorugh I decided just to post a few right now. We stayed at a wonderful cabin in Island Park. We spent one day just hanging out at the cabin to give the kids a break from being in the car. I think it was probably one of their favorite days.

Family pic (hiding my pregnant belly)

Isaac found this truck and liked to fill it up with rocks. Isaac loves rocks, especially throwing them.

They had little wooden horses and we had races. Grandma and Grandpa even raced. I have a video if anyone is interested :)

Grandpa napping.

Granpa starting our fire for lunch.

We had hot dogs.

and then we had marshmallows.

Isaac found a pile of dirt that he played in. For some reason he liked putting the dirt in his ears. You should have seen the amount of dirt I had to get out with a q-tip.

Playing on the rope swing.

Here is the video of Isaac playing in the dirt. He had so much fun.

Backyard

We went back to the house today to get pictures of the backyard with a fully charged camera.

Above is a picture of the top deck with lights and speakers. Kevin would like to add a ceiling fan.

In the very back corners there are 2 slabs one is for a basketball hoop the smaller is for a shed.
Under the deck. There is a walkout basement that leads to this area.

Full view of the back.

Haley said she didn't want to move here because there was nothing to do in the backyard. We told her there was lots of room to run and kick balls.

New house (hopefully)

Here are some pictures of the new house (hopefully, if all goes as planned). the pictures aren't great, because my camera was dying, but you can get an idea. If you can't tell, we really like the kitchen.

Logan's First day of Preschool

Today was Logan's first day of Preschool. He was so excited. In fact he told me he was "super excited". He talked about it all morning, and he had a permagrin the entire trip. He asked me this morning if I was going to miss him while he was at pre-school and I said yes, and then as soon as we got out of the car to walk him in he said "are you going to start missing me now."

It's a .....

BOY! Not the moose, baby #4, due Jan. 26. That makes 1 girl and 3 boys. Haley and I are seriously outnumbered. We took the whole family to see the ultrasound. Haley and Logan were very cute and excited watching it, until we found out it was a boy and then Haley got very disappointed. She kept saying, "you guys are just teasing me, it's really a girl." There's a video at the end of when we told them it was a boy. It's very cute, but kinda of long, and there for anyone who is interested.

After the ultrasound we went up Cottonwood canyon to Silver Springs. On the way up we saw this moose right off the road.

Silver Springs has a nice walk around it and about half way through we stopped to let the kids and Kevin go fishing.

Unknown to us, about 25 ft away from where we were fishing, a Moose and her calf were in the trees. We heard someone else talking about it and then went to find the moose.

As we were walking back to the car we came to a fork in the trail, one leading farther up the mountain and one leading back to the car. Logan, who was leading, took the trail that was going up the mountain. I called him back and told him we were going the other way and he got really upset and said "No, that way goes back home." (He had figured that out on his own) He wanted to keep exploring.

On the way home we saw Moose #4 in the driveway of someone's cabin. Four moose in a couple of hours is not bad. Unfortunately the were all female. Kevin is still waiting to see that Bull Moose.

Haley's First Day of Kindergarten

Today was Haley's first day of Kindergarten.

I took her out last night to get her nails done and get a new outfit. She had to show everyone her fingernails and toenails.

Here is her spot at her table.
Very excited to be starting. Parents stayed while the teacher read a story than got our kids settled at their tables and then we were dismissed.

Picking her up from school. Costco donated backpacks for all the kids in the school which is why she is carrying two. She doesn't like the one they gave her because it looks like a "boy backpack". She gave it to Logan for preschool.

Here she is with her teacher. It's her teachers first year teaching. Hope she's up to it :)
When I asked her how her first day was she said Fantastic and she told Kevin it was awesome.
