We stayed the second night in a town called Braubach, so we could visit Marksburg castle. This is one of the only castles on the Rhine that has never been destroyed.
These were are beds in the hotel. We walked in and Kevin says "Oh no! Footboards." We went out to dinner that night and Kevin tried the local favorite. Stuffed Sow's stomach. He said it tasted like very flavored Hot Dogs.
We wanted to take a tour of Marksburg, so we took a taxi to the castle. Germany is very strict on car seat laws so in order to take a taxi Tyler had to be in a car seat, luckily they had one for him in the Taxi.
The fireplace in the kitchen was big enough to roast an ox.
Window seats!
We hiked down from the castle after our tour. We left Braubach on a train to make our way to Amsterdam. We had to switch trains twice, but made it to Amsterdam with no problems.
