Haley Starts "Big Girl" School

Haley started Pre-school. She was so excited to go to her first day. I took her in, the teacher gave her a name tag and told her to put her backpack in the cubby. She started to put it away and then said "mommy which one" I told her to put it in an empty one. Then she came to me I gave her a hug and kiss. she didn't even say goodbye walked over to a table and never gave me a second look. What happened to our shy little girl.

On her second day of school I got her ready and told her it was time to go and she said "don't you need to take my picture." When I picked her up, I told her we were going to the park, she said "because it's my special first day of school." I told her no it was her second day of school, and she said because it's my special second day of school. I guess she thinks every school day is special. Won't be long before that changes.

Haley is such a delight in our life. I can't believe how fast she's grown up. She is extremely curious and always asking questions. She retains a lot of that knowledge and I hear her explaining things to Logan. She is very good with Isaac and loves to take care of him. She is 100% a Daddy's girl. She loves to read the Book of Mormon at night with us, and then retells the stories to Logan every morning. She loves to sing, and has a great memory. She is beautiful and sweet and gets more so every day. We love you Haley.

He got atound the room pretty good this way, but here he is more interested in the camera then moving.

Kevin's new toy

Kevin' bought himself a new toy. He got a new camera that he has been eyeing for the last year (since before we went to South America) and so he finally got one. We took it up to the mouth of the canyon to do some picture taking and let Kevin practice using his new toy. It's got about 7 dials and each has a menu so it is definitely a work in progress. The kids don't mind because they love to go to the mountains. Logan always says, I want to go to the mountains to see deer. Which is a pretty likely thing around here

.
Haley is rock climbing. Her favorite thing to do.

Leading the way for her brother. He always has to follow.

He is definitely pleased about something.

Kevin kept trying to get them all to smile at once. Good Luck!

Too bad Isaac is showing his tummy. Or this could be one of my favorite pictures

2 Little monkeys climbing up a tree

One little monkey jumping off the rock. No surprise there.

How Sweet!

A little more realistic.

It's been a long day

This is one of the pictures Kevin is most proud of, because it shows how well his camera works, and that he is actually learning how to use it.

Isaac is 6 months old

I can't believe that our little Isaac is 6 months old. Once they are here it goes so much faster than the pregnancy. Isaac is 18 lbs and 27 in. He can sit up, roll over, and he is the grabbiest kid I've ever met. He'll grab everything in sight, including the doctors gloves and his stethescope. We had to hold his hands down at his doctor's appointment. He eats baby foods, and hasn't spit anything out at me yet. He thinks Haley is hilarious and follows her with his eyes everywhere she goes. She makes him laugh. He thinks it's really funny when she cries, which makes her even more mad, she says Don't laugh at me It's not funny. He loves to play with toys and is generally a very happy and content baby. We love having him in our family. It's amazing how fast you get to the point where you can't remember and can't imagine life without him.

Just chilling with dad. This table has been one of the best toys, all our kids have loved it. Thanks Great Grandma!

Haley had the boys enjoying a fake tea party.

Fell asleep in the recliner while I was cleaning.

Always playing with toys.

Cookie Night

So I'm not a Susie Homemaker. We used the store bought dough and icing for our cookies, but I did add the food coloring, so everyone could make their own. I actually prefer the store bought dough, because then I make smaller batches and there is less for me to eat. The kids had a lot of fun choosing the color they wanted and making their own.

Of course I think the kids like the icing more than the cookies
Logan enjoyed his cookie.

Haley takes this very seriously.

Logan showing off his cookie.
Daddy even got into it. Oh by the way, here is my new table. Yeah!

Haley's Soccer Photo

So I gave in and bought the picture. She is really starting to like soccer. This morning she came in and said "today is my soccer game. I'm so exciting." and no I didn't mess up the spelling she said exciting. All week she has been telling me how "exciting" she is to play her soccer game.

it's raining It's pouring

We had a little rain storm on Saturday, so I let the kids go and play in it on the deck. They got soaked and loved it.

Here they are singing and dancing. I'm not sure where Haley learned how to dance like that.
