Day 7 May 25

We left Julie's house and headed for Stourhead, which had some of the most beautiful gardens. We ate sandwiches for lunch by the lake. This place was beautiful. We were eating our lunch and all of a sudden 2 ducks flew right for us and landed by our feet. They were trying to get our lunch.

After the garden we went to the House and walked around. This was the only house where we were allowed to take pictures inside. The library was incredible and while we were there people were there archiving all the books.

Then we drove to Stonehenge and walked around. We really enjoyed it. The stones were amazing and really, what are they doing there. And who in the heck put them there. My money is on giants! Plus I think this is the only picture we got with all three of us. Unfortunately about half way through Derek had his first blow out of the trip and it was bad, so I walked through really fast and then left, while Kevin took a little longer. They also had the audio tours which were nice.

We left Stonehenge and went to Bath, where we parked on the outskirts of town and took the park and ride in. By the time we got to Bath most things were closed but we did walk around and had dinner. It amazed us that things closed so early especially it was light outside until late. We saw the Circus and Royal Crescent which are buildings whose architecture form a half circle.

See how busy the streets are.

We then went back to Bristol and Craig and Janes for the night. It was a very good driving day with only one wrong turn and we found our way back to Craigs by ourselves. When we got there Kevin even paralleled park. We were feeling very good about ourselves.
