We left Utah on May 16 to drive to California. It took us 13 hours and several stops but we made it, with no crying, no fighting, no problems, and all this without a dvd player. Derek was incredible he only cried once the entire trip and Haley was able to take care of that with a bottle. The next day we saw family, had a barbeque with Traci and her family, Grandma, Grandpa, and aunt Thelma and Mom and Dad. We were in the living room and we heard knocking on the wall of the bedroom where the kids were sleeping. When Kevin went in there Haley was sitting straight up in the bed asleep and her head was knocking against the wall. Logan was asleep with his head in the suitcase,

On Tuesday June 18 Traci came and picked up the kids from Grandma's house and Cameron drove us to the airport. We got there early and the plane left late so it was a long day. The plane left at about 6 pm and arrived on Wednesday the 19th at 12:35 London time.
On the plane they had these bassinets that attached to the wall in front of me. Derek was great he slept most of the time except when the baby next to him would randomly scream for 15 seconds wake him up and then fall back to sleep. Kevin upgraded to an exit seat across the aisle from me which was nice, because he had more leg room and was close enough to help.

We arrived at London Heathrow airport and took the Heathrow express to Paddington station and then walked with 3 suitcases, 3 carryons, a stroller, a car seat, a baby, and two hours of sleep .6 miles, 15 min, to our hotel. The Hilton Metropole. We immediately left, bought our oyster passes for the underground and headed out.

We went to St. Paul's Cathedral and walked around for awhile.

We walked down to the Thames River and then ate dinner at Wagamama's, which was kind of like Thai food and then home to an early night.
