Day 8 - May 26

Today, we left Bristol and headed into the Cotswolds. We went to Tetbury, Burford, and Broadway, which was our favorite. Then we headed down through Wales to the port of Swansea where we caught our ferry to Ireland.

Our first stop was Tetbury which is most famous for antique stores. We liked several of the outragously expensive pieces of furniture, but fortunately they would have been too difficult to get home.

The neighborhoods in Tetbury were charming.

The cathedral in Tetbury had an old spooky cemetary.

Next we made our way to Burford where we had some great Chinese food for lunch.

Finally we stopped at Broadway which our favorite stop. It was the prettiest of the Cotswolds that we had visited and the stores were actually reasonably priced. We bought a few keepsakes here included a small silver fairy for Haley.

Very pretty. And the flowers ain't bad either.

We caught the ferry at 9:00pm. It arrived in Ireland at 7:00am the next morning. It was easily our most unique hotel of the trip. We were not expecting much, but it turned out to be a mini cruise ship complete with casino and lounge.

Our berth was not exactly huge, but it was actually pretty comfortable.

Now that's efficiency. Two of the 3 morning S's at the same time.
